Yellow haired little girl,
why thou sobbing
in the mist of the night
till dawn breaking
Yellow haired little girl,
why waste thou tears
whose should be spilled
as wedding dress with color of green pear
Yellow haired little girl,
for no shining knight
would come to rescue thou tonight
only thee would hold tightly
Golden hearth girl,
come again tomorrow night
for thee awaits
under ground six feet deep
